Gifts Galore!

On Christmas morning all the grandparents, Uncle Paul and Aunt Dev made the icy trip over to our house. We kicked off the morning by cooking pancakes, a Broome family tradition, Owen loves to "Crack Egg" and use the whisk.

After stuffing our faces Owen got to open is Christmas goodies. Even after being super SCARED of Santa at the mall, Santa showered owen with many many gifts this Christmas! He loves his kitchen, dyson, leaf blower aka BLOW LEAFER, and cabin. Thanks Santa aka GRANDPARENTS!

We have been so lucky to have Uncle Paul in town for almost two weeks over the Christmas Holiday. Owen can't get enough of Uncle Paul. Paul, thanks for being such a great Uncle!

Back to Houston

NO...we are not moving back, but we did have a great weekend visiting our best friends in H-Town. We stayed with Jami, Tucker, Carson and baby Reed. Owen is still talking about how much fun we had. The day after we got back he woke up and his first words were "Carson, Tucker, Jami, Baby, Zoo, Elephant, Giraffe, Tiger." I wonder if he was dreaming about our trip???

On Sunday we went to the Houston Zoo. The boys had a blast! The lions came right up to the glass and stared at Owen and Carson for a long time. They loved it! I was so taken by the lions I forgot to get pictures of them. Dang it! Needless to say Owen slept the whole way on the drive back to Dallas. It was a big weekend.

Owen loved brushing the goats but for some reason he kept calling them cows. I guess he thought they were mini cows. Too funny.

Birthday and Blog Beginnings

I thought I would kick of the TEAM MYERS blog with a recap of Owen's second birthday. His actual birthday is December 10th, he was born at 6:37 pm and I can't believe that he is a TWO YEAR OLD! It has been a wonderful two years filled with many many laughs. I am blessed with the greatest husband in the world and could not ask for a cooler little boy, I think he is pretty perfect.

We had a car/truck party in our garage with a bunch of owen's little friends. I probably whet over board on the decorations but had LOTS of fun working on all of it. Chris is studying a lot at night so I had plenty of time to work on things after O went to bed.

I used many card board boxes to create stuff for the party. This is his auto shop/3 car garage.

The car was the biggest hit! I hear lots of "OWEN DRIVING!"
