Cheetah

Bets and Devi took Owen to the zoo after school yesterday. The highlight of the visit was the Cheetah exhibit. I guess little boys in orange shirts look yummy to Cheetahs becuase this one pounced on the window right in front of Owen. Devi said she has never seen Owen move so fast!

He is still talking about how the CHEET-O JUMPS, SCARY CHEET-O! So glad for the safety glass...I think Owen is so cute I just want to eat him up sometimes, but I don't want a Cheetah to eat him!

Bedtime Stall Tactics

Owen has been really in to creating new ways to delay his bedtime. This night's stall tactic was, "Mom...I want to be a cowboy!"

Lets do some "Work-Ums"

Chris is back from ASIA!!!! YEA!!! He had a great two week trip, but Owen and I are SO glad to have him home. We missed him lots while he was gone but are so glad he had such a wonderful experience.

We kept busy while daddy was gone and did lots of "Work-Ums" in the yard and on Owen's cabin. We also spent lots of time with friends and grandparents to make the time go by fast. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with us! And I want to give a "shout-out" to all the single mom's out there. You deserve a big pat on the back! I am so blessed to have Chris as my partner in life and in parenting.

Zoo Day

Last Sunday Owen and I took a mom and son trip to the zoo. It was a little chilly and sprinkling which was actually okay because not many people were there. His favorite part of the day was Patrick the HUGE gorilla. Thanks for a fun zoo trip buddy!

Donuts & The Park...what could be better

A couple of weekends ago Owen was invited to his buddy Camp's birthday at the park. It was tons of fun, Owen's favorite part was the donuts!
